WoW Classic uses the Drums of War patch as the framework

Let's break down in which we're at right now. Classic just added the WOW Classic Gold  "Shadow of the Necropolis" patch this week, that's model "1.13.6" for Classic. In WoW terms, it is patch 1.Eleven.Zero.

After that, there are handiest five more patches to move till we start to get into 2.0 Burning Crusade territory. Most of them are minor fixes, earlier than the "Drums of War" patch hits with 1.12.

As we recognize, WoW: Classic uses the Drums of War patch as the framework of WoW: Classic, permitting years of innovations to shine through on day one of the re-launch. In different words, Classic is almost "complete" following the release of Naxxramas. What's next? Well, I wish we get Burning Crusade. Maybe Blizzard is working on it right now, and will pull the transfer while the Classic playerbase starts dwindling. Once that assertion hits (at February's BlizzCon Online? Or November 2021's potential BlizzCon?), people will mmobc.com  start flocking lower back in en masse.
